Description
The Pontiac Solstice is a small two-seat roadster with long doors for its size, and in a tight spot they have nowhere to go. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. converts them to open vertically instead of swinging out, and it fits every trim of the Solstice across the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 model years. The part number is VDCPONSOL0610.
In the box:
- Two VDI lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
- Two gas shocks to carry the weight of the door on its way up
- All of the mounting hardware for the conversion
The hinges are a direct bolt-on and mount to the Solstice’s factory bolt pattern, so there is no cutting or fabrication involved, and the conversion is fully reversible if you ever want the car back to stock.
