Description
Fitment covers the Pontiac Parisienne from 1977 through 1990. This is a lambo door hinge conversion from Vertical Doors, Inc., part number VDCPONPAR7790, engineered for this body rather than adapted from a universal design, so the doors swing up on geometry worked out for the car. Here is what arrives in the box:
- Two Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
- Two gas shocks to carry the weight of the doors on the way up
- All of the mounting hardware needed to put it together
The hinges are a direct bolt-on and mount to the factory bolt pattern, so the conversion works with the mounting points GM already put on the car, and the whole job is reversible if you ever want the Parisienne back to stock. The hardware is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel and the design is patented here. A step-by-step instruction manual ships with the kit, and we recommend having a professional installer do the work following those instructions; tech support is available by phone or email if anything needs clarifying during the install.
